v1.1.0 - A brand-new look

The biggest visual update since launch. FlowState Logic has been rebuilt as a proper expedition: a camp you return to, a cave route you climb chapter by chapter, and themed rooms you actually learn in. The curriculum and your progress are untouched - everything you’ve earned carries straight over.

🚀 New

  • Camp Home is your new base. The Learn tab now opens on an illustrated camp - a tent, a crackling campfire with embers drifting up, and O.B. sitting beside the fire - instead of a plain dashboard.
  • The Lesson Map is a winding cave route. Chapters run along a hand-drawn path with bridges, gates, and landmarks. Fog peels back as you unlock new ground, O.B. travels the connector line as a live progress indicator, and finishing a capstone drops a reward cache on the map.
  • Every chapter has its own biome. Signpost, Shrine, Crystal Mine, and Ziggurat each get their own map art and backdrops, so the world visibly changes as you progress.
  • Lessons play out one room at a time. The new Lesson Room pager moves you through a lesson room by room, set against your current chapter’s biome.
  • The Shop is a merchant’s stall. Reskinned end to end, with currency packs shown as treasure chests instead of purchase cards.
  • Wardrobe and Fitting Room are now one screen, with an overall collection-completion indicator so you can see how much of the set you’ve gathered. On desktop you can click and drag accessories to position them.
  • Achievements are now an expedition board. A wooden board with category filters (All, Progress, Streaks, Collection, Support), rarity plaques, progress meters toward locked badges, and a glow celebration when one is earned.
  • A dedicated Stats tab - shown as Insights for Pro - pulling the numbers out of Profile, alongside regrouped Settings.
  • A What’s New journal in the app, so releases like this one show up with a badge instead of arriving silently.
  • Motion & Visual Quality settings, for turning animation down or off.
  • A summer cosmetics drop - Sun Hat (free), Snorkel Goggles (700 crystals), Tropical Aura (70 cores), and the Golden Tiki Torch - all equippable at once, plus a Beach Ball decoration. Seasonal items now carry a permanent SUMMER tag.
  • New users get asked about reminders right after their first lesson, instead of only through a Settings toggle most people never found.
  • The Lesson Map pans by click-and-drag on desktop.

🌐 Play in your browser

  • FlowState Logic now runs on the web, at flowstate-logic.cinderwayinteractive.com - the whole curriculum, nothing to install. Sign in with the same account and your progress picks up exactly where you left off.
  • Pro subscriptions can be purchased on the web - monthly and yearly. The Family plan stays app-only for now, since family sharing is handled by Apple and Google.
  • Cosmetics and currency packs are app-only for the moment. You can still browse the Shop and Fitting Room on the web, but buying skins, accessories, and crystal or core packs has to happen in the mobile app. The web build says so up front rather than failing at checkout.

📱 Plans & sign-in

  • Sign in with Apple is now available on iOS, alongside Google and email.
  • FlowState Pro Family - an annual plan covering up to 6 people for $79.99/year, now on the upgrade screen. Seats are shared through your existing Apple Family or Google Family group, so everyone in that group gets Pro; it isn’t an invite-anyone code system.

⚡ Performance

  • Roughly 20MB trimmed off the download. Map backgrounds, camp and lesson-room art, and the title screen were all re-encoded to WebP, and several megabytes of art nothing referenced anymore were removed outright.
  • Android release builds are now minified and resource-shrunk, for a smaller install and a faster cold start.
  • The Lesson Map loads without the flash and lag it used to show on slower devices.

🔧 Tuning

  • Cosmetic rarity colors now follow the standard ladder - Common white, Uncommon green, Epic purple, Legendary orange, Artifact red - so tiers read the way you’d expect at a glance.

🐛 Fixed

  • Back buttons no longer dead-end. Screens opened directly (from a link or a fresh launch) had nothing to go back to and the button did nothing; every back and exit path now has a real destination.
  • The Founder’s Embercoil no longer renders undersized on O.B.
  • Equipped decorations now show on the correct side outside the Fitting Room.
  • Phone landscape is usable again - the status bar hides and the Learn header compacts, instead of eating the top of the screen.
