Delete your account
FlowState Logic lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from inside the app. No emails, no forms, no waiting. This page documents the process for transparency and as a public reference required by app stores.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials — email and display name
- Your cloud-synced game progress — completed lessons, XP, embers, crystals, cores, streak history, equipped cosmetics, settings
- Any achievements or unlocks tied to your account
What we don't have to delete
We never collected any of these in the first place, so there's nothing on our side to remove:
- Real name, address, phone number, or contact info beyond your email
- Location, GPS data, or device identifiers
- Photos, contacts, or anything from other apps
- Advertising IDs (we don't show ads)
- Browsing or usage analytics tied to your identity
This is permanent. Once you confirm deletion, your account and progress are gone. We can't restore them from a backup. If you want to take a break instead, just sign out (Settings → Account → Sign out) — your data stays put until you return.
How to delete your account (from inside the app)
- Open FlowState Logic
- Tap the Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap Delete account
- You'll see two confirmation prompts in a row — this is intentional so you don't tap through by accident. Tap Delete, then Delete forever.
Your account and progress are removed immediately. You'll be signed out and returned to the Welcome screen, where you can either create a fresh account or continue without one.
If you can't access the app
If your device is lost or broken and you can't open FlowState Logic to delete your account from inside the app, email support@flowstatelogic.app from the email address you used to sign up. We'll verify ownership and complete the deletion on your behalf within 30 days, usually within 24-48 hours.
What "deletion" technically means here
Your record is removed from our Supabase Auth users table and the corresponding row in our game_states table is deleted via a foreign-key cascade. Both happen atomically in a single transaction — there's no halfway state where one is gone and the other lingers.
Backups taken before the deletion may retain your row for the duration of the backup retention window (Supabase's default: 7 days). Backups are encrypted and inaccessible to humans except in a disaster-recovery scenario, and the deleted row never re-enters the live database.
